Restoring your device can become necessary if at some point during your use you lose some of the data on your device. You are no doubt aware of the official way to restore your device either via iTunes or iCloud. It follows these simple steps.
Restore from iTunes
Step 1: To restore via iTunes connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes.
Step 2: Select the iPhone when it appears and then click “Restore Backup.”
Step 3: Select the most relevant backup and then click “Restore.” Keep the device connected through the entire process.
Restore from iCloud
Step 1: Unless you are setting up a new device, you will first have to erase all data and settings. To do that go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents and Settings.
Step 2: This will take you to the set-up screen. Follow the instructions on the screen until you get to “Apps & Data” and then select “Restore from iCloud Backup.”
Step 3: Sign in to iCloud, select a relevant backup and keep the device connected to a Wi-Fi network until the process is complete.
