iOS 11.3 hidden features
Although there are a number of obvious new features in the latest iOS, there is however, a special hidden feature that you may not know about even after using the software.
Apple File System
The primary improvement is with Apple’s file management system which is otherwise known as APFS. The latest iOS comes equipped with a much more enhanced version of the file system that allows you to run the device faster.
Due to this, the phone has an overall increase in the storage capacity. That is, even for those who are using a 16GB device, the storage capacity seems to have expanded because of a more convenient file system.
APFS is a replacement of Apple’s previous file system which was HFS+. The new system works more effectively with older versions of iPhone as well. Also, the overall performance of the phone has improved as a result of the file system.
