One of the many consequences of water damage is data loss. We don’t want to think about it but it happens and once you are able to get your device dry, you have to contend with it. The problem comes in how to recover the lost data. In this article we are going to be dealing with how to recover missing photos from a water damaged iPhone whether you are able to get it working again or not.
Recover Photos using iMyfone D-Back
To recover photos that have been lost due to water damage, you will require the services of a data recovery program. While there are very many data recovery programs you can choose, only one will actually make it easy for you to get all your photos back. This data recovery program is known as iMyfone D-Back iPhone data recovery for Win or iPhone data recovery for Mac and the following are just some of the reasons why you should choose D-Back over other data recovery programs.
- You can choose to recover the photos directly from the iPhone (if they were not backed up) or from an iCloud or iTunes backup file (if you would rather not restore the device.)
- It can be used to recover a whole host of other data types including videos, call logs, contacts, text message, notes, memos and more.
- It is very easy to use and supports nearly all iOS devices and all versions of the iOS operating system.
- You can recover data that has been lost through accidental deletion, device damage-including water damage, iPhone jailbreak attempt gone wrong or other circumstance.
Like we mentioned before you can either recover the photos directly from the iPhone, from an iTunes backup file or an iCloud backup file. The following is a tutorial on how to recover the photos in each of these three ways.

Step 4: Once the scan is complete. Preview the photos and then select the ones you want to recover. Click “Recover” to save the deleted photos.
