To say that YouTube is awesome is an understatement. But streaming YouTube videos all the time on your device can be quite expensive in terms of data costs. You may also want to save a video offline so you can watch it later when there is no internet connection. While there are a lot of desktop apps that allow you to download the video for offline use, getting that video to your iPhone can be quite the hassle.

How to Download Videos from YouTube to iPhone
These simple steps and an app you can install on your device will allow you to easily watch YouTube videos on your device at your own time.
Step 1: from the App store, install Readdle’s Document 5 for iOS. If you’re wondering why we’re installing a PDF viewer, it will all become clear shortly.
Step 2: Run the app and then tap on the compass icon at the bottom of the screen. Type “savefromnet” in the address bar and then tap “Go.”
Step 3: Select the first item in the search results “The fastest free YouTube Downloader - Savefrom.net”
Step 4: Now go to the YouTube app and find the video you want to download. Tap on the share icon and choose “Copy Link.” Go back to Document 5 and paste the URL in the URL field and tap on the blue arrow.
Step 5: You should see a thumbnail of the video and a green download button. Tap on the download button and follow the prompts.
Step 6: Once the download is complete, tap on the “Downloads” icon and your video should be there. You can view it on Document 5 or move it to your Camera roll. To move it to your Camera roll, tap and hold on the video’s icon ad drag it to the top left corner. Keep holding until you see a folder screen. Drag it to “Photos” and release it.
