03 How to Erase the Device with Recovery Mode
If iTunes or iCloud are not an option for you, you can erase the device using recovery mode. Follow these simple steps to do it.
Step 1: Connect the device to the computer and then open iTunes. Force restart the device by holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home buttons at the same time or the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons if you have an iPhone 7.
