Leaked iPhone 7 Images Reveal Details of Apple's Next Handset

According to the traditional cadence of Apple, the release of their latest iPhone is scheduled in the fall. However, the tradition changed when Apple announced a new version of their iPhone called iPhone SE on the month of March. The iPhone SE is simply a combination of iPhone 6S and iPhone 5S. However, they are planning to release the main device, iPhone 7 at the end of this year and several rumors about it have been leaked along with iPhone images.

The photo of what is claimed to be an actual iPhone 7 was posted on Weibo by a user whose name was “Qiu Han tie,” and it came alongside images of two different internal components said to be destined for inclusion in the iPhone 7. In the image, we see an iPhone that indeed looks a great deal like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. On the plus side, the camera lens is huge compared to the one on the iPhone 6s, suggesting that we can expect a dramatically improved camera on the next-generation iPhone. On the flip side, the redesigned antenna lines follow a better path than the current ones.

2 A Sapphire display

A picture of the new iPhone 7 showed that it would come along with a sapphire display. This can offer a higher degree of shatter and scratch resistance to the users when compared to Gorilla Glass. In fact, the Apple iWatches come along with sapphire displays and they have been proven to be effective. In the meantime, Apple would introduce OLED technology to the display in order to enhance picture quality.

3 All new “Home” button

Some of the new iPhone photos show that Apple would eliminate the traditional Home button from their new update. The iPhone 6S came along with a pressure sensitive 3D touch screen. On the other hand, Siri has become advanced by now and people rarely use the home button when using the iPhones. Therefore, Apple has thought about removing this physical button from their new update of iPhone. This will help them to gain a lot of advantage because they can easily shrink the large bezels in the bottom. In other words, folks in Apple will be able to introduce a large display to the same body size of the iPhone. However, this trick is not yet confirmed because if they remove the physical home button, they will need to look for an alternate method to integrate the Touch ID fingerprint sensor to the device.

4 Water resistant technology

The main competitors of Apple, including Samsung and Sony have started creating water resistant devices. However, Apple was not able to release a water resistant product up to now and they might break the ice in this year. Plans have been taken in order to create a water resistant chassis. According to new iPhone pictures, we may predict that it would come along with a water resistant chassis. The ports of the device are covered by a self healing elastomer. This is a patented technology, where all the ports will be covered by a membrane. The USB connector or the headphone has the ability to penetrate through this membrane. It would automatically seal up when you withdraw the connector. No other competitor came up with such an innovative technology and if Apple can do it, they will get the ability to grab the attention of people in every corner of the world.

In other words, people were not able to experience a significant change in terms of the design. Apple is expected to continue that trend in this year as well.
