Exporting a video from your iPhone to your computer might seem difficult (unless the video is on your camera roll). The truth is that sending movies that you downloaded and similar videos is basically impossible using iTunes. Instead, you’re going to have to use a better tool that gives you more freedom.

If the videos are purchased from iTunes store, you can use iTunes’s “Transfer Purchase from Device” to move them to computer. But for non-purchased videos, the only way to send videos from the iPhone video app to your computer is to use a third-party tool like iMyFone TunesMate iPhone Transfer. This is software that gives you a lot of freedom over your files and lets you transfer almost anything back and forth between your iOS devices and your computer.

2. Tips to Upload CameraVideos from iPhone to Computer
These tips only work for camera videos in the Photos app, but they don’t work for videos from the Videos app:
2.1. Export Videos from iPhone by Copying DCIM (PC)
First, you can move your recorded videos directly from your iPhone to your computer. You can do this by plugging your iPhone into your computer and going into the DCIM folder (This PC > Your Phone > Internal Storage > DCIM), then copying the videos you want into one of your computer’s folders.
Disadvantages: The videos you want to send may be in different DCIM folders. It should take long time to find the videos you want.
2.2. Send Videos from iPhone Using Photos App (PC & Mac)
You can use the Photos application. On your Mac/PC, open up Photos and connect your iPhone to your computer. Click where it says Import, select the videos you want to transfer, and then click where it says Import [Number] Selected.
2.3. Upload Videos through iCloud Photo Library (PC & Mac)
You can use iCloud Photo Library. It’s only free up to 5GB, but you can set it up by going to Settings > Photos and enabling iCloud Photo Library. After that, download the iCloud application for your PC. Go into options and check the box next to “Download new photos and videos to my PC.” Click Done and your videos (as well as) should automatically transfer when you make new ones on your iPhone.
